Great Start Readiness Program. The Great Start Readiness Program is a tuition- free, state grant funded preschool program for at- risk four- year- old students. Children turning 4 or 5 between September 2 and December 1 may enroll and be considered for enrollment. Our program is designed to promote the development of the total individual by helping each child to develop skills in the physical, social, emotional, and cognitive areas. The GSRP program follows the Standards of Quality and Curriculum Guidelines set by the Michigan State Board of Education and licensing requirements of the Department of Human Services.
